Leading text: "The Israel Science Foundation’s main activities and budget is are dedicated to channeling individual grants in all fields of research: Exact sciences and technology, life sciences and medicine, and Humanities and Social sciences. The grants are given to a single researcher, or at the most, to a group of up to two principle investigators and two cooperating investigators, on the basis of excellence and competitiveness, for a period of up to four years.
